सुखमात्यन्तिकं यत्तद्बुद्धिग्राह्यमतीन्द्रियम् । वेत्ति यत्र न चैवायं स्थितश्चलति तत्त्वतः ॥
sukhamātyantikaṃ yattadbuddhigrāhyamatīndriyam | vetti yatra na caivāyaṃ sthitaścalati tattvataḥ ||
Translation
Where one knows the infinite happiness, which is grasped by the intellect and beyond the senses — established there, one does not move from the truth.
Interpretation
The happiness of samadhi is atyantinam — infinite, absolute, without limit. It is not sensory pleasure (which requires the senses and their objects) but something subtler: grasped by a purified intellect (buddhi-grahyam) that has become transparent to the Self's own radiance. And the meditator established in this state does not 'move from truth' — no argument, no temptation, no circumstance can dislodge them from the recognition of the Real.
