Bhagavad Gita
2.64

रागद्वेषवियुक्तैस्तु विषयानिन्द्रियैश्चरन् | आत्मवश्यैर्विधेयात्मा प्रसादमधिगच्छति ||६४||

rāga-dveṣha-viyuktais tu viṣhayān indriyaiśh charan ātma-vaśhyair vidheyātmā prasādam adhigachchhati

Translation

But a person free from all attachment and aversion is able to control his senses through regulative principles, and can obtain the complete mercy of the Lord.

Interpretation

The alternative path: senses governed not by desire and hatred but by the higher Self, moving through the sensory world without being captured by it. Such a person attains 'prasada' — grace, serenity, divine favor. The senses are not enemies to be destroyed but instruments to be refined.
