Bhagavad Gita
2.54

अर्जुन उवाच | स्थितप्रज्ञस्य का भाषा समाधिस्थस्य केशव | स्थितधीः किं प्रभाषेत किमासीत व्रजेत किम् ||५४||

arjuna uvācha sthita-prajñasya kā bhāṣhā samādhi-sthasya keśhava sthita-dhīḥ kiṁ prabhāṣheta kim āsīta vrajeta kim

Translation

Arjuna said: O Keshava, what is the description of one who has stabilized wisdom and is situated in transcendence? How does he speak? How does he sit? How does he walk?

Interpretation

Arjuna asks a practical question: what does an enlightened person actually look like? How do we recognize them? The question is not merely academic — it is the question of what genuine spiritual development looks like in human life. Krishna's answer (verses 55-72) constitutes the famous 'Sthitaprajna' passage — the description of the person of steady wisdom.
