तच्च संस्मृत्य संस्मृत्य रूपमत्यद्भुतं हरेः | विस्मयो मे महान् राजन् हृष्यामि च पुनः पुनः ||
tac ca saṁsmṛtya saṁsmṛtya rūpam aty-adbhutaṁ hareḥ vismayo me mahān rājan hṛṣyāmi ca punaḥ punaḥ
Translation
And remembering again and again that most wonderful form of Hari (Krishna), great is my amazement, O King, and I rejoice again and again.
Interpretation
Sanjaya recalls not only the words of the Gita but the form of the Divine — the Vishvarupa (cosmic form) of Chapter 11 that he also witnessed through his divine vision. 'Vismayo me mahan' — great is my wonder. The wonder never fades; the amazement at the Divine's revelation never becomes routine. This is the state of the blessed witness — perpetual wonder, perpetual joy. The Gita ends not in philosophical conclusion but in bhava — in the direct experience of wonder and delight at the Divine's self-revelation.
