अर्जुन उवाच | नष्टो मोहः स्मृतिर्लब्धा त्वत्प्रसादान्मयाच्युत | स्थितोऽस्मि गतसन्देहः करिष्ये वचनं तव ||
arjuna uvāca naṣṭo mohaḥ smṛtir labdhā tvat-prasādān mayācyuta sthito 'smi gata-sandehaḥ kariṣye vacanaṁ tava
Translation
Arjuna said: Destroyed is my delusion, and I have regained my memory through Your grace, O Achyuta. I am firm; my doubts are gone. I shall act according to Your word.
Interpretation
Arjuna's answer is the answer the entire Gita has been working toward: 'Nashtah mohah — delusion is destroyed. Smritih labdha — memory is regained.' The 'memory' regained is not new information but the recovery of what was always known — the soul's recognition of its own divine nature. 'Through your grace, O Achyuta (the Unfalling One)' — Arjuna acknowledges that this transformation is not his achievement but the fruit of Divine grace received through surrender and sincere listening. 'I will act according to your word' — the disciple is reborn. The Gita is complete.
