Bhagavad Gita
18.72

कच्चिदेतच्छ्रुतं पार्थ त्वयैकाग्रेण चेतसा | कच्चिदज्ञानसम्मोहः प्रनष्टस्ते धनञ्जय ||

kaccid etac chrutaṁ pārtha tvayaikāgreṇa cetasā kaccid ajñāna-sammohaḥ pranaṣṭas te dhanañjaya

Translation

Has this been heard by you, O Arjuna, with a focused mind? Has the delusion born of ignorance been destroyed, O Dhananjaya?

Interpretation

The teacher's check-in: the most human moment in the Gita. Krishna, who has just shared the greatest wisdom in all of existence, now simply asks: 'Did you hear it? Was your mind focused? Has the delusion that brought you to your knees at the start of this battle — has it been destroyed?' The question is not rhetorical. It is the genuine concern of a loving teacher for a student's actual transformation. All the teaching in the world matters nothing if the delusion remains.
