Translation
Even the person who only listens to it with faith and without envy — that one too shall be freed and attain the auspicious realms of the virtuous.
Interpretation
The accessibility of the Gita's grace is total: even one who only listens (not reads, not studies, not practices — just sincerely listens) with shraddha (faith, genuine openness) and without envious fault-finding — even that person is freed and reaches the auspicious realms of the righteous. The bar is remarkably low: sincere listening with an open heart. This is the Gita's universal invitation: no advanced degree required, no years of practice necessary — just genuine openness to receive.
