यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा । तत्तदेवावगच्छ त्वं मम तेजोंऽशसम्भवम् ॥
yadyadvibhūtimatsattvaṃ śrīmadūrjitameva vā | tattadevāvagaccha tvaṃ mama tejoṃśasambhavam ||
Translation
Whatever being has majesty, prosperity, or power — know that to have sprung from a spark of My splendor.
Interpretation
The universal principle that makes the entire vibhuti catalogue into a spiritual practice: whatever you encounter that has vibhuti (magnificence), shri (prosperity, beauty, grace), or urjita (power, vigor, strength) — know that this is a spark (ansha — a fraction, a portion) of the Divine's splendor (tejas). This is the transformative vision the Gita offers: instead of being attracted or repelled by the world's various displays of greatness, the devotee recognizes each as a window into the infinite. Excellence anywhere is God everywhere.
