यो मामजमनादिं च वेत्ति लोकमहेश्वरम् । असम्मूढः स मर्त्येषु सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते ॥
yo māmajanādim ca vetti lokamāheśvaram | asammūḍhaḥ sa martyeṣu sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate ||
Translation
One who knows Me as unborn and without beginning, as the great Lord of the worlds — such an undeluded person among mortals is freed from all sins.
Interpretation
The fruit of genuine knowledge of the Divine's nature: the person who knows the Divine as ajam (unborn), anadim (without beginning), and loka-maheshvaram (the great Lord of all worlds) — this undeluded person (asammudha — without confusion, clear) among mortals is freed from all sins. Knowledge of the Divine's ultimate nature is itself liberating. This is not theoretical information but the direct recognition that dissolves the root of all separative action (sin), which is the illusion of being separate from the universal ground of existence.
