श्रीभगवानुवाच मय्यासक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन्मदाश्रयः । असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तच्छृणु ॥
śrī bhagavān uvāca mayyāsaktamanāḥ pārtha yogaṃ yuñjanmadāśrayaḥ | asaṃśayaṃ samagraṃ māṃ yathā jñāsyasi tacchṛṇu ||
Translation
The Blessed Lord said: With mind attached to Me, O Partha, practicing yoga and taking refuge in Me — without doubt, how you shall know Me fully — hear that.
Interpretation
Chapter 7 opens with a promise: a complete (samagra), doubt-free (asanshayam) knowledge of the Divine. The conditions are three: mayyasakta-manah (mind attached to Me), yogam yunjan (practicing yoga, engaged in disciplined inner work), and madashrayah (taking refuge in Me, surrendering to Me). The knowledge that follows in this chapter is not theoretical but the lived experience of one who meets these conditions. Krishna will reveal the totality of his nature — both the manifest and the unmanifest.
