योगिनामपि सर्वेषां मद्गतेनान्तरात्मना । श्रद्धावान्भजते यो मां स मे युक्ततमो मतः ॥
yogināmapi sarveṣāṃ madgatenāntarātmanā | śraddhāvānbhajate yo māṃ sa me yuktatamo mataḥ ||
Translation
And of all the yogis, the one who worships Me with faith, with the inner self absorbed in Me — that person is considered by Me to be the most established in yoga.
Interpretation
The final verse of Chapter 6 is the pinnacle: among all yogis, who is supreme? The one whose antara-atma (inner self) is absorbed in the Divine (mad-gata — gone into Me, merged in Me) and who worships with shraddha (living faith, not mere belief). Krishna himself declares this person to be yuktatama — the most established, the most completely united. Thus the chapter that began with practical meditation instruction ends with devotion: the highest yoga is the yoga of love. This verse foreshadows the entire teaching of Chapter 12 (Bhakti Yoga).
