इहैव तैर्जितः सर्गो येषां साम्ये स्थितं मनः । निर्दोषं हि समं ब्रह्म तस्माद्ब्रह्मणि ते स्थिताः ॥
ihaiva tairjitaḥ sargo yeṣāṃ sāmye sthitaṃ manaḥ | nirdoṣaṃ hi samaṃ brahma tasmādbrahmaṇi te sthitāḥ ||
Translation
Here itself, in this very life, creation is conquered by those whose mind is established in equality. Brahman is indeed flawless and equal — therefore they are established in Brahman.
Interpretation
Liberation is not a posthumous reward but a present living reality. Those who have achieved sama (equality of vision) have 'conquered creation' — meaning they are no longer driven and tossed about by the apparent differences and dualities of the world. Why? Because Brahman, the infinite ground of all existence, is nirdosham (flawless, without defect) and samam (equal, undivided). To know this is to abide in it here, now, in this very life (ihaiva).
