Bhagavad Gita
4.32

एवं बहुविधा यज्ञा वितता ब्रह्मणो मुखे | कर्मजान्विद्धि तान्सर्वानेवं ज्ञात्वा विमोक्ष्यसे ||३२||

evaṁ bahu-vidhā yajñā vitatā brahmaṇo mukhe karma-jān viddhi tān sarvān evaṁ jñātvā vimokṣhyase

Translation

All these different types of sacrifice are approved by the Vedas, and all of them are born of different types of work. Knowing them as such, you will become liberated.

Interpretation

The summary: all these diverse yajnas are sanctioned by scripture and arise from different types of right action. Knowing this — understanding that one's work can be a form of spiritual sacrifice — liberates the practitioner. Work is not the obstacle to liberation; uninstructed, unaware work is.
