दैवमेवापरे यज्ञं योगिनः पर्युपासते | ब्रह्माग्नावपरे यज्ञं यज्ञेनैवोपजुह्वति ||२५||
daivam evāpare yajñaṁ yoginaḥ paryupāsate brah māgnāv apare yajñaṁ yajñenaivopajuhvati
Translation
Some yogis perfectly worship the demigods by offering different sacrifices to them, and some of them offer sacrifices in the fire of the Supreme Brahman.
Interpretation
Krishna begins listing the many forms of yajna (spiritual sacrifice). Some worship the devas through rituals; others offer the self into the fire of Brahman — recognizing that the act of worship itself is divine. There are many legitimate forms; the principle of offering and surrender is what unites them.
