yadṛchchhā-lābha-santuṣhṭo dvandvātīto vimatsaraḥ samaḥ siddhāv asiddhau cha kṛtvāpi na nibadhyate
Translation
He who is satisfied with gain which comes of its own accord, who is free from duality and does not envy, who is steady both in success and failure, is never entangled, even though he performs actions.
Interpretation
'Yadṛchchhā-lābha-santuṣhṭa' — content with whatever comes unsought. The free person doesn't strategize for results but receives what comes gratefully. Free from envy and free from the duality of success/failure, they remain in equanimity. Actions done from this space leave no karmic residue.
