सर्वमेतदृतं मन्ये यन्मां वदसि केशव । न हि ते भगवन्व्यक्तिं विदुर्देवा न दानवाः ॥
sarvametadṛtaṃ manye yanmāṃ vadasi keśava | na hi te bhagavanvyaktiṃ vidurdevā na dānavāḥ ||
Translation
All this that You tell me, O Keshava, I hold to be true. Neither the gods nor the demons know Your manifestation, O Blessed Lord.
Interpretation
Arjuna's faith is complete: sarvam etat ritam manye — 'All this I hold to be true.' Not conditional belief, not intellectual assent with reservations, but full acceptance. And he acknowledges: even the gods and demons do not fully know the Divine's vyakti (manifestation, the full expression of the Divine's nature). Arjuna is being granted a rare privilege — a direct teaching from the Divine itself, revealing what gods do not know. This is the grace of complete surrender to the teacher.
