धृष्टकेतुश्चेकितानः काशिराजश्च वीर्यवान् | पुरुजित्कुन्तिभोजश्च शैब्यश्च नरपुङ्गवः ||५||
dhṛṣṭaketuśh chekitānaḥ kāśhirājaśh cha vīryavān purujit kuntibhojaśh cha śhaibyaśh cha nara-puṅgavaḥ
Translation
There are also great fighters like Dhrishtaketu, Chekitana, the valiant King of Kashi, Purujit, Kuntibhoja, and Shaibya — the foremost among men.
Interpretation
The list of Pandava allies continues. These kings have allied with righteousness against oppression. Their presence strengthens the moral weight of the Pandava side.
