ततः श्वेतैर्हयैर्युक्ते महति स्यन्दने स्थितौ | माधवः पाण्डवश्चैव दिव्यौ शङ्खौ प्रदध्मतुः ||१४||
tataḥ śhvetair hayair yukte mahati syandane sthitau mādhavaḥ pāṇḍavaśh chaiva divyau śhaṅkhau pradadhmatuḥ
Translation
On the other side, both Lord Krishna and Arjuna, stationed in a great chariot drawn by white horses, sounded their transcendental conchshells.
Interpretation
The white horses are Krishna's own divine horses. The conchshells blown by Krishna and Arjuna are described as 'divya' (divine or transcendental). The contrast with the Kaurava instruments is deliberate: where the Kauravas have noise, the Pandavas have divine resonance.
