Bhagavad Gita
7.6

एतद्योनीनि भूतानि सर्वाणीत्युपधारय । अहं कृत्स्नस्य जगतः प्रभवः प्रलयस्तथा ॥

etadyonīni bhūtāni sarvāṇītyupadhāraya | ahaṃ kṛtsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayastathā ||

Translation

Know that all beings have their source in these two natures. I am the origin and the dissolution of the entire universe.

Interpretation

The two natures together constitute the complete womb (yoni) of all existence. Every being, every phenomenon emerges from the interplay of spirit (para prakriti) and matter (apara prakriti). And the ultimate source of both? Krishna himself. Aham prabhavah — I am the origin. Pralayah tatha — and also the dissolution. Both creation and destruction arise from and return to the same Divine ground. This is the complete Vedantic vision: the Divine is both the material cause and the efficient cause of the universe.
