मयि सर्वाणि कर्माणि संन्यस्याध्यात्मचेतसा | निराशीर्निर्ममो भूत्वा युध्यस्व विगतज्वरः ||३०||
mayi sarvāṇi karmāṇi sannyasyādhyātma-chetasā nirāśhīr nirmamo bhūtvā yudhyasva vigata-jvaraḥ
Translation
Therefore, O Arjuna, surrendering all your works unto Me, with full knowledge of Me, without desire for profit, with no claims to proprietorship, and free from lethargy, fight.
Interpretation
The direct application: surrender all actions to Krishna, with the mind absorbed in the Self ('adhyātma-chetasā'). Free from desire for results ('nirāśhīr'), free from the sense of 'mine' ('nirmama'), free from the fever of urgency ('vigata-jvaraḥ') — fight. This is the full formula of karma yoga applied to Arjuna's specific situation.
