Bhagavad Gita
2.51

कर्मजं बुद्धियुक्ता हि फलं त्यक्त्वा मनीषिणः | जन्मबन्धविनिर्मुक्ताः पदं गच्छन्त्यनामयम् ||५१||

karma-jaṁ buddhi-yuktā hi phalaṁ tyaktvā manīṣhiṇaḥ janma-bandha-vinirmuktāḥ padaṁ gachchhanty anāmayam

Translation

By thus engaging in devotional service to the Lord, great sages have freed themselves from the cycle of birth and death and reached a state beyond all miseries.

Interpretation

Renouncing the fruits of karma-born actions, the wise (manīṣhiṇaḥ) are freed from the bonds of rebirth and reach the state of no suffering (anāmayam). This is not a promise for the future — it is a description of what happens when the yoga of wisdom is genuinely practiced.
