Bhagavad Gita
2.24

अच्छेद्योऽयमदाह्योऽयमक्लेद्योऽशोष्य एव च | नित्यः सर्वगतः स्थाणुरचलोऽयं सनातनः ||२४||

achchhedyo'yam adāhyo'yam akledyo'śhoṣhya eva cha nityaḥ sarva-gataḥ sthāṇur achalo'yaṁ sanātanaḥ

Translation

This individual soul is unbreakable, insoluble, it can be neither burned nor dried. It is everlasting, all-pervading, unchangeable, immovable, and eternally the same.

Interpretation

A comprehensive description of the soul's essential qualities: eternal (nitya), all-pervading (sarva-gata), stable (sthanu), immovable (achala), and primordial (sanatana). These qualities contrast perfectly with the body's characteristics: temporary, localized, changing, moving, born in time.
