ॐBhagavad Gita
10.10

तेषां सततयुक्तानां भजतां प्रीतिपूर्वकम् । ददामि बुद्धियोगं तं येन मामुपयान्ति ते ॥

teṣāṃ satatayuktānāṃ bhajatāṃ prītipūrvakam | dadāmi buddhiyogaṃ taṃ yena māmupayānti te ||

Translation

To those who are ever steadfast, who worship Me with love — I give that yoga of intellect (buddhi yoga) by which they come to Me.

Interpretation

The Divine's reciprocal gift: for those who are satata-yuktanam (ever steadfast, ever united) and who worship with love (priti-purvakam — preceded by love, with love as the basis), the Divine gives buddhi-yoga — the yoga of the discriminating intellect, the inner wisdom that guides the devotee directly to the Divine. This is grace: the devotee provides love and steadfastness; the Divine provides the very wisdom needed to complete the journey. The path is a partnership between human effort and divine grace.
